There are numerous club activities in which members may participate. Each year, the club hosts Open Houses, Train Shows, Swap Meets, Clinics and Railroad Related events. The club also displays the modular layouts at several different rail & non-rail events that are not sponsored by the club. The club also holds an annual picnic, held at the Live Steam layout. The picnic is open to all members and their guests.

In addition to weekly meetings, the club has unscheduled work and operating sessions.  The club also has a periodic 'Saturday Train Event' during the day. These events include visits to club members home layouts, work or operating  sessions at the club or member's home layouts, rail excursions and similar activities.
